Major Online Puppy Dealer Faces Lawsuit

Though unsuspecting customers may have believed that the high dollar price tags would ensure a top-notch puppy, the truth for many involved the receipt of sickly pups – some of whom died.

According to NBC Miami, the puppies often sold for upwards of $4000 each.

Purebred Breeders, which  may be the largest online source of puppies, is said to sell over 16,000 puppies a year.

This lawsuit is a huge wake-up call to consumers who have previously ignored warnings to avoid purchasing a puppy from an online retailer. 

If the lawsuit is successful, it may result in taking down one of this nation’s largest sources of puppies, which in turn, may put a true dent in the bottom line for puppy millers.
