Everyone has that family member (or maybe more than one). You know, the one who every now and then says or does something that shocks or embarrasses everyone else? Then, after the awkward silence, the conversation moves on and everyone just chalks it up to “oh, that’s just your uncle. He’s set in his ways and doesn’t quite understand why such things might offend us, but he means well.”
Awkward Uncle PETA

It seems PETA is indeed going further and further in inappropriate campaigns. I have mixed feelings about this organization. On one hand, it is good that because they have so much money and celebrity support, they can get their message to much more people than we could ever dream of. On the other hand, I will never accept what they themselves do to animals. I’m for non-kill shelters and not “putting to sleep as much as we can”. Also, PETA seems to be very much aggressive towards anyone who does not support them. If you are not with us, you are against us – that seems to be their message. I find that quite annoying.
Anyways, I tagged you in my blog for 11 questions – if you have the time, I’d love you to take part and learn more about you. It’s at the very end of this post: http://anna3101.wordpress.com/2012/06/05/11-questions/
